About Jenna Sizemore
Dr. Jenna Sizemore, MD, (she/her) is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Medicine, Division of General Internal Medicine, at West Virginia University School of Medicine. A lifelong West Virginian, she was born and raised in an area of West Virginia known for its excellent white-water rafting and rock climbing. She later attended college at Shepherd University, where she graduated summa cum laude in Biochemistry and was a member of the Med STEPS program. She received her Medical Doctorate from West Virginia University School of Medicine, where she later completed a residency in Internal Medicine. She served as a Chief Resident for the WVU IM Residency from 2017-2018 and transitioned to faculty in the Division of General Internal Medicine. She has a strong clinical interest in Global Health and rural, Appalachian medicine. Her professional interests include enhancing graduate medical education, especially with the use of simulation, to combat health disparities. She has been awarded numerous educational innovation grants to expand her simulation research. She currently co-directs the Telemedicine thread curriculum and the Physical Diagnosis and Clinical Integration course for WVU School of Medicine.
