Why did you choose WVU? WVU has always felt like home since I came for undergrad in 2018. As an auditioning student I felt supported and welcomed by the faculty and residents. Additionally, it was important to me to continue giving back to a state and people that have stood by me my entire education.  Theres truly no place like WVU and West Virginia!

Brief bio:  I am a native West Virginian, growing up in the small town of Ripley, WV. I come from a family of healthcare workers with dad who was an emergency medicine doctor and a mom who is a nurse. Watching the care and dedication they brought to their patients daily inspired me to pursue a career where I could do the same. I attended West Virginia University and earned my bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology before continuing my education at the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine. During medical school, I found that some of my most rewarding experiences came from leadership and advocacy roles. I enjoyed working with my classmates, helping represent medical students, and contributing to initiatives that supported both students and the osteopathic medical profession. When I'm not studying or in the hospital, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, who have always been my biggest supporters. I also love hanging out with my dog (Bella), reading books, and exploring the state.
