About Meera Mehta
Meera Mehta is originally from London, England and is currently an Infectious Diseases Clinical Specialist at WVU Medicine in Morgantown, West Virginia. She is currently the residency program director for the Infectious Diseases PGY2 program. In 2017, she created the outpatient parenteral antimicrobial therapy consult service at her institution. She also provides antimicrobial stewardship, complex oral antimicrobial therapy, and ID consult services, and HIV treatment services. Meera has her own infectious diseases podcast called “Infectious Conversations” where important infectious diseases topics are discussed with experts on a monthly basis. Additionally, she serves on the Infectious Disease Specialty Council for the Board of Pharmacy Specialties (BPS) Board Certified Infectious Diseases Pharmacist (BCIDP) exam.
