COMMUNITY SERVICE

Health Right Clinic, volunteer, 2023 – present

• Assist with triaging patients, taking patient histories, examining patients, and documenting the visits with supervision from the volunteer physician. This experience has allowed me to learn how non-profit and community-based clinics work logistically while also serving patients from diverse backgrounds.

Homeward Bound West Virginia, volunteer, 2020 – present

• Assist with the care of rescued kittens and cats. These animals often stay at the local pet store so people can meet them and they can find a home. I assist in making sure they have clean water, food, and enough stimulation each day. This work allows me to help the community while caring for animals which is one of my passions.
