About Zachary Werner
Dr. Zachary Werner is a fellowship trained specialist in male infertility and sexual dysfunction. He provides comprehensive, up-to-date care as the Male Infertility provider at the West Virginia University Center for Reproductive Medicine. Beyond this, he manages additional sensitive conditions such as erectile and ejaculatory dysfunction, low testosterone, genital pain, and others.
Born in Wheeling, West Virginia, Dr. Werner is proud to treat fellow West Virginians and call the Mountain State his home. After a brief departure to the University of Virginia for his undergraduate degree, he returned to WVU for both his medical degree and urology residency. Following residency, he completed additional training at an American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) accredited fellowship at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Dr. Werner specializes in medical and surgical management of male infertility, providing guidance to couples on treatment options, as well as conducting microscopic testicular sperm extraction (micro-TESE), vasectomy reversal, and varicocelectomy, among other surgical procedures. Furthermore, Dr. Werner’s training afforded him additional education in the surgical and medical management of erectile dysfunction, low testosterone, and genital pain.
When not at work you can often find Dr. Werner with his wife and dog on the rail trails, at Cooper’s Rock, or hiking in Canaan Valley.
