Why did you choose WVU? I chose WVU Emergency Medicine residency because of the opportunities to practice rural medicine while also training at a level 1 trauma center with a host of subspecialists to learn from.

Brief bio: I grew up in Princeton, West Virginia with a younger brother and a younger sister. My fiancé and I met over eight years ago when we were both in high school and we will be getting married next May. We have an Aussie Doodle named Mac who is 3 years old. I love staying active through sports such as volleyball, basketball, golf, and many others. I also love exploring the outdoors and having a good meal with friends and family. I am currently interested in rural emergency medicine and sports medicine and I look forward to exploring these fields as a resident.
