Kristen joined WVU Teaching and Learning Applications in 2024, where she leads strategy and operations for the university's learning management systems (eCampus / Blackboard and SOLE LMS), including a variety of third-party instructional tools and integrations. She also oversees the SOLAR committee, an initiative started in Spring 2026 to unite WVU ITS and HSC stakeholders in the ongoing enhancement of SOLE LMS. Prior to coming to WVU, she worked in academic technology for 15 years with the UNC School System. She holds dual Bachelor’s degrees from North Carolina State University and a Master’s degree in Instructional Technology from Appalachian State University.
