About Klint Smart
Klint Smart, MD is an Assistant Professor for the West Virginia Department of Anesthesiology. He joined the Department of Anesthesiology as a member of the Division of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Anesthesiology in 2023. He is board-certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology (Anesthesiology, 2022; Critical Care, 2023; Cardiac Anesthesiology, 2024) and National Board of Echocardiography (Advanced Perioperative Transesophageal Echocardiography, 2023; Critical Care Echocardiography Certification, 2023). Dr. Smart earned his Doctor of Medicine at St. George’s University in True Blue, St. George in 2017. He completed his Anesthesiology Residency at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, NY in 2021. He completed his Fellowship in Critical Care Anesthesiology at Weill Cornell Medicine in New York, NY in 2022 and his Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology Fellowship at Weill Cornell Medicine in 2023.
