I am a enthusiastic nurse with 6 years of experience. I graduate from Waynesburg University in 2018 with my BSN and 2023 with my MSN. Since graduating with my BSN, I had worked as a bedside nurse in both Uniontown Hospital and WVU Medicine Ruby Memorial Hospital. I have worked on medical-surgical floor units with up to 12 patients a shift through team nursing. I currently work on a cardio-thoracic stepdown unit. At both facilities I have had an active role as the charge nurse, an advocate, and mentor. Through these wonderful experiences I have gained much clinical skills, critical thinking abilities, and teamwork using collaboration knowledge.

Teaching interests: Sophomore level nursing students enrolled in NUR 211 and 212

Clinical teaching within the skills laboratory and during clinical experiences within the hospital settings.

Clinical teaching initiatives through collaboration between inter-professional student populations

Simulation and used of alternative high fidelity tools
