Stephanie West, BS, CHES

Stephanie West joined the WVPRC Team as an Administrative Assistant on March 1, 2021.  Stephanie is from Paden City, WV.  Before joining the West Virginia Prevention Research Center, she served for four years in the United States Navy as a master-at-arms. Most recently, she worked with a faith-based non-profit organization as a foster care home evaluator. Stephanie holds a Bachelor of Science in Community Health Education from Fairmont State University and is pursuing a Master’s in Public Health from the University of New England. Additionally, she is a certified health education specialist, CHES, with the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing, Inc. 

Her duties at the WVPRC will include providing assistance in post-award, administrative and financial operations.  Stephanie will also provide support to project staff for meetings and travel coordination including the Community Partnership Board Quarterly Meetings and monthly Leadership Meetings.  Additionally, she will utilize her experience and knowledge from her degree to lend support to the various WVPRC project teams as assigned- currently the Department of Tobacco Prevention and HPCD-1815 Evaluations
