Sean Hanlon grew up in Bruceton Mills, West Virginia just a few miles from Morgantown. He is a forever Mountaineer completing undergraduate, medical school, and residency here. He did have a brief hiatus for fellowship when he went to Indiana University for subspecialty training in pediatric emergency medicine, which was a great experience, but then country roads brought him back home. He is excited to be back to serve the children and families of the state. Furthermore, he is excited to help teach the next generation of future physicians in our medical students and residents. When not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Meredith, and two boys, Hayes and Lincoln. He loves WVU sports. He says one of the best feelings, that is truly difficult to describe to others, is when you are on vacation thousands of miles away and you are wearing something with WVU on it, and then, someone yells “Lets Go!” Hopefully, he will be able to yell it a bit himself over the next few years.
