About Nathan Rumpf
Hometown: Billerica, Massachusetts
Undergraduate institution: Worcester Polytechnic Institute
Medical school: University of Connecticut
Why did you choose WVU?
My sister has lived in Morgantown for several years, and I knew I liked the area with all its nearby outdoors activities. I was fortunate to get an interview and was immediately impressed by the quality of the training and the friendliness of the residents and faculty. After meeting Dr. Shaver and Dr. Kiefer I knew I could count on them to pick a group of residents I would enjoy working with.
Brief bio:
I grew up in Massachusetts before moving to Connecticut for work after undergrad. I worked for a couple years as an electrical/systems engineer and then stayed in Connecticut for medical school. I enjoy anything involving animals, plants, and the outdoors and am excited to experience life in a new part of the country.
