Sarah E. Karpinski, PharmD, BCPS is a Clinical Associate Professor of Pharmacy Practice at WVU.  Her current practice site is at Ruby Memorial Hospital. She obtained her PharmD from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa and completed her PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency with Aurora Healthcare in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Sarah has practiced in both the academic medical center and private hospital settings.  She has experience with investigational drug services and also population health management.  Her areas of interest include chronic disease management, specifically diabetes care, transitions of care with a focus on discharge medication management, and international health care.
