About Darren Liu
Professor Darren Liu joined the School of Public Health's Department of Health Policy, Management, and Leadership in August 2022. A Fellow of the Gerontological Society of America (GSA), he serves on the Board of Directors of the Association of University Programs in Health Administration (AUPHA) for the 2021-2024 term and sits on the advisory board for accreditation and the ASPPH/CDC Fellowship at the Association of Schools and Programs of Public Health (ASPPH).
With extensive experience in long-term care, health administration, public health, and health equity, Dr. Liu also serves on the editorial boards of Innovation in Aging, JMIR Aging, and Gerontology and Geriatrics Education. His research centers on health equity, long-term care management, and quality improvement.
