About Michael Stevens
Michael Stevens, MD, MPH, FSHEA, FIDSA, FACP is a Professor of Internal Medicine in the Division of Infectious Diseases. He is WVU Health System's System Healthcare Epidemiologist and is the Medical Co-Director for the Virginia Infection Prevention Training Center. Dr. Stevens’ research interests focus on pragmatic approaches to infection prevention. He has contributed to over 100 research abstracts presented at national and international conferences and has authored over 130 peer-reviewed papers. He is a fellow of the American College of Physicians, the Infectious Diseases Society of America and the Society for Healthcare Epidemiology of America.
