Why did you choose WVU?
I chose WVU EM for the authentic faculty and residents that I got to meet during interview season. Even with the virtual interview setting, it was so readily apparent that the department was a genuine family. Every resident reiterated how supportive their environment is; and held the utmost confidence that their training would not only provide the necessary clinical competencies but also life-long friendships. I strongly believe in being able to grow where one is planted, and for me personally the most deciding factor of whether I thrive or not is the community.
