Biography/Research Statement:
Dr. Megan Israelsen-Augenstein joined the faculty at West Virginia University in 2022. She specializes in implementation science. Her research interests include the effective implementation of evidence-based practices in the field of speech-language pathology, the development of assessments and interventions children with language disorders, children who have cognitive impairments, children with autism spectrum disorders, and Dual-Language Learners in their school-age years. She enjoys mentoring students in research. She has taught courses at the undergraduate and graduate level related to language development and diagnosis and treatment of developmental language disorders. She is a certified and licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
