About Jayne Harris Esposito
In my role as a research analyst, I support residents and faculty through every stage of the research process—from IRB submissions and protocol development to data analysis and dissemination. I provide mentorship on study design, data validation (including EMR and REDCap), and project execution. I have my Master of Public Health from the George Washington University and am currently pursuing my PhD in epidemiology at the WVU School of Public Health. My research interests focus on women’s health, particularly the intersections of unpaid labor and physical activity.
I’m also a personal trainer, powerlifting coach, and yoga instructor with nearly a decade of experience in the fitness industry. I own the South Park Barbell Club, where I help women transform their lives through weightlifting and a generous dose of encouragement—making movement a joy, not a chore. I am a Certified Personal Trainer with the American College of Sports Medicine, a Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance (ERYT-200), and a Certified Powerlifting Coach Practitioner with the United States Powerlifting Association.
