Obtained my first Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Eastern Kentucky University back in 2008. Worked in a residential psychiatric facility until I was inspired to become a nurse. Graduated with my Bachelor's in Nursing in 2011 from West Virginia University. Worked as a pediatric nurse at WVU Children's Hospital. Obtained my Master's as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2015 from WVU SON. Work for the WVU Medicine Department of Pediatrics with a Behavioral Medicine Clinic.

Teaching interests: Behavioral Medicine especially in the pediatric/ adolescent population
Forensic Nursing
