About Almara Hutchinson
Biography:
Miss Hutchinson joined the faculty at WVU in 2021 as an Assistant Professor. She currently supervises Speech-Language Pathology Assistants enrolled in the online communication sciences and disorders program. Miss Hutchinson has clinical experience working in school and medical settings. She has a passion for educating and collaborating with colleagues and caregivers to provide treatment of individuals with complex communication needs. Miss Hutchinson is committed to supervising students using best practices, compassion, empathy and knowledge of the field. She possesses extensive knowledge in the areas of articulation, language, augmentative and alternative communication, literacy, motor speech and swallowing.
