Why did you choose WVU? WVU is unique in that you are exposed to both rural and urban medicine at a single institution. Combining these educational opportunities with the amazing state of West Virginia and the vast number of outdoor activities you are surrounded with made it a prime choice.
Brief bio: I traveled from Oregon to North Carolina for medical school. There I met my now husband who is a current radiology resident here at WVU. We have two dogs (Pebbles and Olive) who we adopted and who love to go out hiking with us whenever possible. In my free time I enjoy pretty much anything active – swimming, running, horseback riding, etc. I love to travel and want to explore as many countries as possible. One thing on my bucket list is to visit every national park – though with a current census of 423 of them that will take a while
