About Jonathan Abraham
Jonathan Abraham, DDS, is an assistant professor at WVU in the Department of Restorative Dentistry at the WVU School of Dentistry. He is a two-time graduate of West Virginia University; receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology in 2000 and a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2004.
Dr. Abraham joined the faculty of the WVU School of Dentistry in October of 2020, after a sixteen year career as a general dentist in his hometown of Charleston, West Virginia. He is an active member of the International College of Dentists, the American Dental Association, the West Virginia Dental Association, Omicron Kappa Upsilon dental honorary, and the American Academy of Facial Esthetics. Dr. Abraham is also a past-president of the Kanawha Valley Dental Society, the Charleston Dental Study Club, and a previous chairman of the Board of Directors of Union Mission Ministries in Charleston, West Virginia.
In addition to his teaching responsibilities at the School of Dentistry, Dr. Abraham currently serves as a Clinical Team Leader for the 3rd and 4th year dental students. He is also currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Human Anatomy from the University of Florida.
Dr. Abraham has been married to his wife, Suzanne, for 20 years and they have three children: JR, Carson, and Katie. In his spare time, Dr. Abraham enjoys all WVU sports and is an avid golfer.
