About M. Babar Khan
Dr. Babar Khan earned his medical degree from Aga Khan University Medical College in Pakistan and completed a PhD in molecular biology studying therapeutic resistance emanating from intra-tumor heterogeneity in glioblastoma at the Elmezzi Graduate School of Molecular Medicine at the Hofstra Northwell School of Medicine. Originally from Swabi, Pakistan, he is passionate about endovascular and skull base neurosurgery, with a specific research interest in developing intra-arterial therapies for brain tumors.
Dr. Khan has been recognized for his clinical excellence, receiving the RNI award of excellence in clinical care, and he continues to build on a growing list of research publications.
Outside the hospital, he enjoys spending time with his wife—who is also a resident physician in family medicine—and their energetic one-year-old daughter. When time allows, he unwinds with video games and takes every chance he gets to enjoy the outdoors.
