About Tyler Groves
Hometown: Bruceton Mills, WV
Medical School: West Virginia University
What I like best about being a Mountaineer: I’ve been a mountaineer technically for 4 years, but have been a part of Mountaineer nation my whole life. The sporting events have to be my favorite due to the great games, and even better people!
Why Family Medicine? A better question would be why WOULDN’T I choose family medicine? You get to help entire families through amazing days and also hard times. It creates a great opportunity to bond with individuals of a community all while giving back to these people who may or may not have played very influential roles in your life!
Before Medical School: Before medical school I studied biology at Fairmont State University where I considered becoming a teacher if I hadn’t decided to choose the medical path.
I enjoy: In my spare time, I enjoy hunting, fishing, working out, and spending time with family. I also enjoy embracing my nerd side and playing video games.
