Dr. Heather Tucker is originally from North Huntingdon, Pennsylvania, but grew up a in a Mountaineer family. She is the 32nd person in her family to attend WVU. During her undergraduate career, she was a member of the WVU Drumline, where she met her husband, Foster. She traveled south to complete her medical degree at the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in Lewisburg, WV. On a wilderness medicine rotation during medical school, she adopted a small hound dog, named Jasper. She returned to Morgantown for emergency medicine residency and completed a fellowship in ultrasound here at WVU. She works clinically at both Uniontown Hospital and Ruby Memorial Hospital. She enjoys spending time with her family, including daughter, Lira, and recreating in the many beautiful places West Virginia has to offer.
