Dr. Jill Descoteaux holds a BS in athletic training from Keene State College, a MSc in dance science from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, a MS in athletic training from Ohio University, and a PhD in Interdisciplinary Studies from Ohio University where her research focused on the healthcare experiences of dancers in the United States and Australia. Jill is also a certified athletic trainer with the Athletic Training Board of Certification. Jill was previously working with circus artists at Cirque du Soleil and is excited to join WVU as an Assistant Professor in Exercise Physiology with her efforts focused on developing the Dance Science Emphasis Area.
