About Aimee Bond
As a research specialist with the Office of Health Affairs, Aimee works closely with the Child Welfare Evaluation team and the Bureau for Behavioral Health System of Care team. She collects and synthesizes data, including literature reviews, interviews, focus groups, and surveys, in order to develop and refine deliverables for her team.
Most recently, Aimee worked in care management with WVU Medicine at Ruby Memorial Hospital. Prior to that, she worked with a practice in Morgantown offering therapy for children age 0-7 and their caregivers and served as wellness coordinator with Hopewell Health Centers in Southeastern Ohio, coordinating and implementing wellness programming across 14 sites in eight counties. Aimee has built a foundation of experience serving communities and families, working in both group and individual settings to build coping skills, healthy parenting skills, and accountability.
Over the course of her career, Aimee has gained invaluable insight into the landscape of behavioral health services in rural Appalachia as well as the culture and values of the people who live in the region. She has grown to value home-grown leadership and is dedicated to building talent and expertise in West Virginia to continue to serve the state and its people.
