About Rebecca Wallis
Rebecca works closely with stakeholders and staff at the WV DHHR Bureau of Medical Services (BMS) to provide project management and research support for the 1115 SUD Waiver evaluation project as well as the ATLAS project, an opioid use disorder provider finder created by the nonprofit Shatterproof. As a research specialist, Rebecca ensures that projects run smoothly, on time, and on budget. She also identifies opportunities for additional research and assists the team in manuscript planning and writing.
With a background developing programs at the local government level and organizing at the grassroots level, Rebecca's experience lends to overall staff expertise at the Office of Health Affairs. In her previous position as a policy analyst for a federal contractor, Rebecca was responsible for project coordination, research, and deliverable development for a CMS contract related to the ACA individual market, as well as researching federal healthcare topics and developing policy-relevant deliverables from data or findings.
