Brent is from Armagh, PA.  He received a degree in Biology from Saint Francis University and then completed his MD at Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine.  Between undergraduate and medical school, he worked in private industry as a biologist, where he developed a strong interest in genetics and rare diseases.  In his spare time, he enjoys long distance running and reading.
