Dr. Barnett received his medical degree from Midwestern University, Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his postgraduate training at John C. Lincoln Hospital in Phoenix. Dr. Barnett practiced Family Medicine and Geriatric Medicine in the greater Phoenix area for many years. His career his highlighted by many honors, appointments, and accolades, including the prestigious Phoenix Top Doc Award. Dr. Barnett relocated to Morgantown in 2013, and has been practicing Family Medicine in the area since that time as a faculty member for the Cornerstone Care/Mon Health Family Medicine Residency Program prior to joining WVU.
