About Jennifer Giordano
Dr. Jennifer Giordano is currently an Assistant Professor in the Division of Endocrinology in the Department of Medicine. She graduated from the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, Pennsylvania, and did her residency in Internal Medicine at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. She completed a fellowship in Endocrinology at East Carolina University as well as a fellowship in faculty and fellowship development and education. After fellowship, she practiced as an Associate Professor of Endocrinology at East Carolina University and also taught at both East Carolina University School of Medicine and the Campbell University School of Medicine. She joined the faculty at the School of Medicine at WVU in 2017. Her interests include Medical Education, Bariatric Endocrinology, Obesity Management, Diabetes, Thyroid Disease and Women’s Health. She has been the recipient of the Cleveland Clinic Physician Champion Award, has been selected as a physician ambassador speaker within the state of North Carolina, and has served as an honorary speaker for the Eastern North Carolina consortium for higher education delivering lectures regarding post-bariatric medical disorders.
