About Daniel McClelland
Dr. McClelland is a native of Moundsville, West Virginia. He earned his undergraduate degree from Bethany College and his Doctor of Medicine degree from West Virginia University School of Medicine. While in medical school, he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society which recognizes high educational achievement. He was also the recipient of the John E. Jones Award for academic excellence. He completed his urologic training at West Virginia University. Dr. McClelland serves as the Medical Student Clerkship Director for Urology, and he has been awarded the WVU Department of Urology Ronald Albequerque Award for Excellence in Student Teaching multiple times. As a general urologist, he specializes in the treatment of kidney stones, benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH)/enlarged prostate, bladder cancer, and many other urologic conditions. Outside of work, Dr. McClelland enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, and cheering on the Mountaineers.
