Brandon Wilson, MD, Associate Professor has been named Assistant Medical Director for United Hospital Center Emergency Department effective October 1, 2024. He will work alongside Kyle Hurst, MD, Medical Director.  Brandon is a WV native originally from Wheeling, WV.  He studied Biology at WVU during his undergraduate, and then attended WVU’s School of Medicine. He decided to remain at WVU for residency due to his interest in ultrasound and the amazing faculty and residents who helped him develop his interest in Emergency Medicine.  He was an WVU DEM Ultrasound Fellow July 1, 2020 to June 30, 2021. His medical interests remain ultrasound and toxicology.  Reading and cooking have always been hobbies for him as well as medieval history and going to haunted houses in the Fall.
