About Jesse Hall
My Research interests:
I am a PhD student in the Immunology and Microbial Pathogenesis program. I graduated from West Liberty University in May of 2015 with my Bachelors in Biology, where I studied various antibiotic resistance mechanisms of Francisella tularensis. I joined Dr. Damron’s lab in December of 2016, where I study Bordetella pertussis, the causative agent of whopping cough. My research interests will focus on further understanding pathogenesis of Bordetella pertussis.
Outside of Lab:
During my spare time I enjoy playing basketball. I love going to the movies; nothing better than some popcorn and a good film. I enjoy music and spending time with family and friends and always looking for the next best food in Morgantown.
My objective is to get a PhD and further pursue my dream of being a PI.
