I have had intermittent nursing experience in public health at the Monongalia County Health Department and worked as needed in the OR and PACU at Mon General Hospital. I went back to school for my MSN in Nursing Education at Excelsior College, and graduated in December of 2015. I started working as a Lecturer/clinical instructor at WVU School of Nursing in August of 2016 and have been teaching in the Health Assessment and Fundamentals courses at the sophomore level and have filled in for the Maternal Infant course at the junior level.
Teaching interests: My primary interests for teaching include: clinical instruction at the sophomore level (health assessment, communications, and fundamentals), simulation teaching, skills lab teaching, small group instruction, case study facilitation. In addition to the role I currently have as an instructor, I have goals to teach in my nursing passion of OB.
