About Tara Rickard
Personal interests: Cycling, crafting, church, spending time with my family
Tara Rickard, MD, PharmD is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine, Division of General Internal Medicine at the West Virginia University School of Medicine.
Dr. Rickard earned her Doctorate of Pharmacy (PharmD) from West Virginia University School of Pharmacy. She then completed a clinical pharmacy residency at West Virginia University, followed by an oncology pharmacy residency at the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX. She received her Doctorate of Medicine (MD) degree from West Virginia University School of Medicine. Dr. Rickard trained in Internal Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC.
Dr. Rickard is board certified in Internal Medicine. Her professional interests include outpatient primary care, preventative care and women’s health.
