Christen Jordan, DMSc, MPAS, PA-C, is the Director of Advanced Practice Professionals for the WVU Cancer Institute, providing strategic leadership for advanced practice across the Departments of Medical Oncology and Radiation Oncology. With 20 years of oncology experience, she has played a key role in advancing clinical operations, workforce development, and innovative care models that expand access to high-quality cancer care throughout West Virginia and the surrounding region. During her nine years as Clinical Chief of Advanced Practice at the Cancer Institute, she led the recruitment and development of advanced practice professionals, established a structured oncology transition-to-practice program, created a clinical leadership framework to support APP practice, expanded APP led clinical programs, and helped develop new models of care supporting regional growth and patient access. In addition to her leadership responsibilities, Christen is an active physician assistant specializing in hematologic malignancies, breast oncology, and hereditary cancer genetics. She is also an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor with the WVU School of Medicine and has contributed to clinical research, scholarly publications, and the education and mentorship of future healthcare professionals.
