BIOGRAPHY
About SueAnn Woods
Narrative:
Dr. Woods joined WVU in 2016 with major areas of clinical interest in hand and upper extremity rehabilitation. Her clinical experiences include outpatient rehabilitation, school based therapy, and home health rehabilitation. She has published articles on hand therapy evaluation techniques, hand strength, and dexterity. In 2019, Dr. Woods earned the Professional Program Distinguished Teaching Award from the WVU School of Medicine. She served as the Doctoral Capstone Coordinator for the OTD program from January 2022 through December 2023. Beginning in January 2024, Dr. Woods was appointed as the MOT Program Director.

Dr. Woods provides off-road driving risk evaluations using simulation and a series of clinical tests to assess driving skills and safety needed to return to on-road driving. She is also a certified hand therapist and sees children in the WVU Medicine multi-disciplinary Brachial Plexus Clinic.
