Personal interests:
Dr. Courtney Cundiff is a native of Eastern Kentucky, originally hailing from Olive Hill, Kentucky. She completed her undergraduate education at Morehead State University, graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology in 2010. Following graduation, Dr. Cundiff completed her medical education at the University of Kentucky, completing the Rural Physician Leadership Program focused upon preparing students to provide health care leadership in rural settings at the Morehead campus in 2015. Following completion of her medical education, she has served as a resident in the Department of Emergency Medicine at West Virginia University, serving as Chief Resident during her final year of training. After graduation, Dr. Cundiff and her husband Kendrick chose to stay in Morgantown, and she joined the faculty with a focus upon medical education and simulation.
