About Josephine Reece
Dr. Jo Reece grew up in Mullens, WV in Wyoming County, but has now adopted Morgantown as her home since attending her undergraduate, medical school and a combined Internal Medicine-Pediatric residency all at WVU. After spending a year in Liberia as part of Baylor College of Medicine's Global Health Corp, she returned to WVU to start a Global Health Track for the Internal Medicine residency program.
Dr. Reece’s passion is global health, as she travels overseas as often as she can. She loves having a career that allows her to do it frequently, as well as the opportunity to take students and residents on these incredible experiences with her. When she is not traveling, Dr. Reece is most likely spoiling her two senior puppies with car rides and walks in the woods.
