About Manuel Vallejo
Dr. Manuel C. Vallejo came to West Virginia University in July of 2016 as Professor and Chair of the Department of Anesthesiology. Dr. Vallejo received is Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Pittsburgh in 1986 and completed his Dental Residency at Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Martinsburg, WV in 1987. He received his Medical Doctorate from West Virginia University in 1992 and completed his Internship in Medicine/Pediatrics at West Virginia University in 1993. Dr. Vallejo completed his Anesthesia Residency at UPMC Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh PA in 1996. Dr. Vallejo is currently the Assistant Dean and DIO of Medical Education, in Anesthesiology and Obstetrics & Gynecology and Vice-Chair for Faculty Development and Institutional Affairs for the Department of Anesthesiology for the West Virginia University School of Medicine.
