About R. Wiener
Dr. R. Constance Wiener is a clinician scientist and chairperson of the Department of Dental Public Health and Professional Practice. She conducts population research in cariology, chronic diseases, trauma, and substance use including tobacco and e-cigarettes. She is interested in working with limiting health disparities and improving health outcomes, especially with vulnerable groups. She is committed to dental public health education, research, and service for all people to have good oral and systemic health and is an advocate for having NOMA officially listed as a neglected tropical disease.
