About Benjamin Frye
Dr. Frye is the Director of the Adult Reconstruction Fellowship Program. He specializes in hip and knee surgery including total hip and knee replacement, partial knee replacement, direct anterior hip replacement, and revision hip and knee replacement. Dr. Frye utilizes less-invasive surgical techniques, and accelerated recovery programs. He is active in joint replacement research and has published in peer-reviewed journals and text books. Dr. Frye is also a reviewer for the Journal of Arthroplasty and the Journal of Arthritis. He earned his medical degree and completed an orthopaedic surgery residency at the WVU School of Medicine. He then completed an adult reconstruction fellowship at Joint Implant Surgeons, Inc. in New Albany, OH under Drs. Adolph Lombardi, Jr. and Keith Berend. Dr. Frye is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons.
