About Gina Baugh
Gina M. Baugh, PharmD is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Clinical Pharmacy and the Director of Introductory Pharmacy Practice Experiences at West Virginia University (WVU) School of Pharmacy and the Director of Interprofessional Education (IPE) for the WVU Health Sciences Center (HSC). She is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy and worked as a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist at UPMC Health Plan prior to joining the faculty at WVU.
Dr. Baugh is actively involved in experiential learning at both a local and national level. She has held multiple leadership positions in the Experiential Education Section of the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP) and continues to serve as the chair of the experiential learning committee at the WVU School of Pharmacy.
Dr. Baugh assumed the role of Director of IPE at the WVU HSC in January 2017. In this position, Dr. Baugh oversees the IPE activities of all programs within the HSC. Her work in IPE has become the primary focus of her teaching and scholarship, and she has been part of four funded grants in this area in the past 4 years. She was recently awarded the WVU HSC Vice President’s Team Achievement Award along with 3 colleagues for their IPE efforts in the community.
