About Yeshvant Navalgund
Dr. Yeshvant Navalgund is an Anesthesiologist within the School of Medicine of West Virginia University specializing in Interventional Chronic Pain Management. Dr. Navalgund received his Doctoral Degree from Saba University School of Medicine in 1999. He subsequently completed an internship in surgery at the University of Virginia followed by anesthesiology residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Dr. Navalgund completed a one-year Chronic Pain Management fellowship at West Virginia University following residency training. He joined the faculty of WVU as an Assistant Professor in March 2005 first within the Department of Neurosurgery transferring to the Department of Anesthesiology in March 2016 as the Division of Chronic Pain Management transferred to the latter department. Dr. Navalgund also holds an appointment as an Adjunct Professor since 2009 at the University of Pittsburgh School of Anesthesia. Dr. Navalgund obtained time limited certification with the American Board of Anesthesiology in 2005, subspecialty board certification in Pain Medicine within the American Board of Anesthesiology in 2006, and in 2010 achieved Diplomate status with the American Board of Pain Medicine. His current rank is Assistant Professor.
