Dr. Anna Scott is originally from Houghton, Michigan, and first came to West Virginia to attend Alderson-Broaddus University where she was a member of the Battlers women’s volleyball team during her undergraduate career. After completing medical school at the WVU School of Medicine in 2007, she joined the WVU Department of Emergency Medicine and completed her residency training. Following residency, Dr. Scott remained with the Department working clinically at both the UHC and WVU sites. Dr. Scott loves working with residents and medical students in the community setting and has been recognized as the outstanding teacher of the year at the UHC site many times for her efforts.
