About Mark Poling
Dr. Mark A. Poling is currently an assistant professor in the Department of Medicine with a dual appointment in the division of Nephrology and the division of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine. He is a native of Belington, WV and completed his undergraduate education at Potomac State College and West Virginia University. He completed his medical education at WVU graduating in 2005. He completed all of his post-graduate training at WVU, graduating from Internal Medicine residency in 2008, followed by a Nephrology fellowship and a Critical Care fellowship. He joined the faculty at Ruby Memorial Hospital in 2011, where he continues to serve as an assistant professor. His professional interests include Medical Education, Critical Care Nephrology, Toxicology, Acid Base disorders and Kidney Stones. He will be the new director of the Nephrology fellowship starting in mid 2018.
