Selected as one of eight to participate in a multi-disciplinary faculty development program designed to promote excellence and scholarship in teaching. Areas of study includes adult learning theory, critical thinking, exploring new technology available for teaching, developing communication skills to name a few.
About Christine Kincaid
Dr. Christine Kincaid, MD, graduated from WVU School of Medicine in 1985 and went to complete her Internal Medicine/Pediatric residency at WVU in 1989. She worked for two years in student health, helping to care for the college population. During this period, she also worked in the General Pediatric outpatient clinic. She then accepted and shared appointment in the departments of General Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. During her career, Dr. Kincaid has served as an inpatient attending for both departments. In addition, she sees children and adults directly, and also precepts residents in both General Internal Medicine and Pediatric clinics. She served as the Program Director for General Internal Medicine and Pediatrics residency from 1997-2005. She remains an active participant in resident and medical student education, as well as being a primary care physician.
