About John Guilfoose
Dr. Guilfoose is currently Associate Professor of Medicine in the Section of Infectious Diseases. He graduated from Hahnemann University School of Medicine and completed his residency in Internal Medicine and Fellowship in Infectious Diseases at West Virginia University.
He is an outstanding teacher and clinician who has won awards for his teaching. He is a member of the Gold Humanism Society. He serves as Chairman of the Antimicrobial Stewardship subcommittee of Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee. He is involved with ECHO model providing outreach using telehealth program for management of hepatitis C assisting and teaching primary care providers.
