About Kelley Gannon
Dr. Kelley Gannon, MD is the Medical Director for Ambulatory Operations and Patient Centered Medical Home for the Department of Medicine at West Virginia University. She earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 2005. She earned her Doctorate of Medicine (MD) degree from West Virginia University School of Medicine in 2009. Dr. Gannon trained in the combined residency for Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at WVU, and she was Chief Resident during her fourth year of residency for both the combined Med/Peds program and Pediatrics program. She then became Chief Resident for the Department of Medicine at WVU.
Dr. Gannon is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. Her practice focuses mainly on treating patients in the ambulatory setting, where she strives to prevent disease and promote wellness. Her special areas of interest include caring for multiple generations of families, caring for adults with chronic disease from childhood, and maintaining health and wellness. In addition, she is passionate about teaching resident physicians and medical students the importance of strong primary care doctors for patients.
In her spare time, Dr. Gannon is a dachshund enthusiast and enjoys singing in her church, spending time with her family, and cheering on the Mountaineers!
